Please see below regarding specific requirements for mixed use properties for each loan type. Property eligibility depends on the appraisal and ensuring that the residential property was legally built for the zone. The highest and best use must be residential regardless of zoning. The remaining economic life must be longer than the loan term. AND there should be other available comparables, residential properties in that shopping district, commercial, or rural zone.
